Track and Field – We had a great day for our Track and Field event at Sandowne.  Thanks so much to Mrs. Whittrick and other staff members who helped make this event a huge success!  Congratulations to all students for their great effort.  The Area Meet at University Stadium will take place on Thursday, June 16th.  Good luck to our Sandowne Stars!

Crazy Hair Day – June 2nd will be our last Nutrition for Learning Fundraiser.  Thanks to Mrs. Bartlett for all of her hard work coordinating this great program for our students!  We are very hopeful that each student will bring a toonie or a loonie to donate that day.  Let’s see your Crazy Hair!

P.D. Day – June 3rd is a P.D. day.  Teachers will be working on assessment, evaluation and planning activities.

Bowling – Our Sandowne S.C.’s (Student Council) are going to Frederick Bowling Alley on Tuesday, June 7th.  We would like to thank them for their leadership this year!

Freezie Sales – Our Gr. 4 French Immersion class, along with Ms. Rushton, are raising money for two Buddy Benches.  A WCI woodworking class has agreed to build these benches for us.  Jumbo Freezies will be sold on Tuesday, June 14th and Thursday, June 16th for $1 each.  Thanks so much for your support!

Sandowne Family BBQ – Our Family BBQ will be on Thursday, June 23rd, from 5:00-7:30 p.m.  We hope to see you there!

Farewell Assembly – Our Farewell Assembly will take place on Monday, June 27th at 9:15.

Kiwanis Park – Our Junior students will be going to Kiwanis Park on Tuesday, June 28th.  We are hoping for great weather that day!

Last Day of School for Students – Our last day of school for students will be Wednesday, June 29th.  We hope you have a safe and exciting summer and we look forward to seeing you back in September!
