Thank You – Thank you so much to our Sandowne community for all of your fundraising efforts in December.  Our 5 Days of Giving was a huge success!  We collected 30 boxes of clothing, toys, toiletries and food for local families.  We also raised $1 576 at our Dance-A-Thon.  Our Lace Lidz fundraiser made $800 to put towards purchasing more technology for our classrooms.  Thanks again for your generosity!

PALS Program – PALS is a playground leadership program that encourages students to participate in activities during Nutrition Breaks.  Students in grades 4-6 volunteer to be activity leaders for younger students.  Our student leaders are trained to lead games, encourage students to get physically active and manage small issues that may arise from the games.  Our PALS motto is “There is always room for one more.”  Our PALS program started on Dec. 7th and will continue throughout the school year.

School Council – Our next School Council Meeting is on Wednesday, January 13th at 7:00 p.m.

P. A. Day – Friday, January 29th is a P.A. Day. Students will not attend school.  Teachers will be involved in assessment, evaluation and planning activities that day.
