It’s a busy month for UWaterloo Science!

We are very excited to offer three public events at the end of October: the Earth Sciences Museum hosts the Gem & Mineral Show October 23rd  and 24th; Science Open House, our annual family-friendly science extravaganza, will take place on campus on October 24th; and Dr. Lynne Maquat, 2015 Gairdner award laureate, will speak “On being a scientist: uncovering the mysteries of life” the evening of October 27th.

More information on the Gem & Mineral Show can be found on the Earth Sciences Museum events page: uwaterloo.ca/earth-sciences-museum/gem-and-mineral-show. No registration required.

Science Open House details are on the Science events website: uwaterloo.ca/science/events. While we will have a multitude of activites as usual, we have made a special effort to entertain middle school students this year so bring the big kids along too! No registration required, free event, parking provided in Lot C.
