Jump Rope for Heart – A big thank you goes to Mrs. Panagos-Orsini for coordinating our Jump Rope for Heart event on Friday, April 21st.  Students will be skipping (hopefully outside), starting at 11:55 a.m.  Donations will be collected for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  Thank you for your support!

Spirit Day – We will have “er” Day on Thursday, April 27th.  Students can dress up ie.) hockey player, teacher, fire fighter etc.  This will be a fundraiser for our Nutrition For Learning Program.  We encourage all students to bring a toonie!

PigMania – Our JK-Gr. 3 students will be attending a play, PigMania on Friday, April 28th at the Humanities Theatre at the University of Waterloo.  Thanks to Mrs. Bartlett for organizing this opportunity for our Primary students!

Kodaly Concert – 19 Sandowne students will be performing at the Centre in the Square on Tuesday, May 2nd.  The performance will start at 7:30, but you should plan on arriving early to get a good seat!

Kindergarten Information Night – Our Kindergarten Information Night will take place on Thursday, May 4th.  We hope our new students and families can come from 6:00-7:00 p.m  to meet the teachers, see the classrooms and find out about the FDK program.

P.D. Day – Friday, May 5th will be a P.D. Day.  Students will not attend school that day and the teachers will be working on Professional Development.
